On October 11 and 12, Eddie Palmieri and friends presented a retrospective series at the Conga Room, in Los Angeles. Gone was the 15-minute piano intro, and in its place was an amazing journey back to a bygone era of captivating rhythms. On Thursday, Francisco Aguabella joined Palmieri on stage as he recreated his legendary repertoire from the 1960s (La Perfecta).
