Another wonderful year has come to a close, and one of the biggest influences we saw was the rise of the youth-oriented reggaeton from Puerto Rico that has begun to make inroads into salsa, as heard on the new bit by Tito Nieves Ya No Queda Nada, a duet with India that features reggaeton artists Kamil & Nicky Jam on Nieves' new CD, Fabricando Fantasias.
Nieves is just one of the latest salsa artists to include reggaeton artists. Some of the names making waves in this music style include the likes of Tego Calderón, Baby Rasta, Don Omar, Don Dinero, Noriega, Daddy Yankee, Lito & Polaco, Ivy Queen and many more.
