Puerto Rican John Crespo Estrella grew up during the Nuyorican Cultural Renaissance in Spanish Harlem and his brush has been dancing to the rhythm inspired by his urban Caribbean traditions ever since, allowing him to create colorful and energetic images in a variety of expressive modern styles.

Loaded with emotion, his work develops from the combined skills of being a musician and graphic artist. He believes that while painting, he connects with a deep spiritual source which helps him to achieve delightful results.
