Guataque (celebration) and Guasábara (struggle) are words of Taino origin, the theme for this exhibition. From June 15-July 15, Avenue 50 Studio featured four Puerto Rican artists who exemplified a sensibility towards their identity and culture, as interpreters of their times.

Artists: Carlos Cancio, Kahlil Jacobs-Fantauzzi, Poli Marichal and Iván Camilli Rivera.
