Music battles and rivalries have had some positive effects on Latin music. The most positive attribute about rivalries and battles should not be who won of who is better; it should be the opportunity to be involved in the battle; being at the combat site, listening, dancing and enjoying the scorching, swinging music, so one may proud[y state years later, "I was there."
