OTC/SPX Corp. has introduced the Smoke Check 1667 diesel smoke opacity tester. The smoke opacity is measured within the stack to perform accurate tests even in harsh conditions. Virtually no warm-up is needed and a digital LCD screen walks the operator through each step. A verifying printout of test results is produced afterwards.
