Diesel Progress North American Edition, Oct, 2004
Combustion Components Associates (CCA) announced the receipt of contracts for its ELIM-N[O.sub.x] SCR system on six diesel trucks in the New York Metropolitan Area and 12 off-road construction vehicles in Southern California. The orders, exceeding $400,000, represent the first large commercial contract for ELIM-N[O.sub.x] since it was commercialized for retrofit on existing on-road and off road diesel applications and new trucks in early 2004.
CCA's ELIM-N[O.sub.x] SCR technology is designed to achieve 90% N[O.sub.x] reduction while overcoming any fuel economy penalties. Additionally, vehicles need not use ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel oil with this technology.
