Eaton's Aeroquip group has opened an $11 million hose and fittings plant in Queretaro, Mexico. Amsted Industries, Chicago, Ill., has purchased Advance Products Corp., Beaver Dam, Wis., a producer of powder metal parts. Automotive Testing and Development Services Inc. and the Colorado Institute for Fuels and High Altitude Engine Research have formed an alliance for vehicle and engine emissions testing services.
Borg-Warner Automotive Inc. said it will sell its forged powdered metal operations in Gallipolis, Ohio, to GKN Sinter Metals Inc.
