Slotted Shims For Leveling

Precision Brand Products has expanded its slotted shim product line which is used for leveling pumps, motors and other equipment. The 6 x 6 in. and 8 x 8 in. 300 series stainless steel slotted shims are now available and are the same shape as the Precision Brand 2,3,4 and 5 in, slotted shims, the company said. Both shim sizes are available in the following thicknesses: 0.001, 0.002, 0.003, 0.004, 0.005, 0.010, 0.015, 0.020, 0.025, 0.050, 0.075, 0.100, 0.125, 0.250 and 0.500 in. New thicknesses are the 0.250 and 0.500 in. models. Each shim is marked in decimal and metric thicknesses. The shims are sold in refill packages and assortments.
