Multibody simulation software

Diesel Progress North American Edition, Nov, 2006

LMS has announced that Toshiba is using the LMS Virtual.Lab Motion multibody simulation software in the development of advanced power transmission equipment at its Power Systems Division. With the Virtual.Lab Motion software, Toshiba is able to engineer the dynamic motion of key components in large and complex circuit breakers for power generation and transmission installations. The company is also able to virtually test new designs for possible fault scenarios and ensure that electric power is completely shut down inside the power circuit breaker during these situations. Toshiba is also a user of other LMS multibody simulation software programs.
