Hand-held tachometer - products

Diesel Progress North American Edition, Dec, 2003

Ono Sokki Technology Inc. has developed a hand-held tachometer that is small, thin and lightweight weighing less than 4 oz. To operate the unit the user must aim the red light beam at the reflective marker that is attached to the object being measured. An on-target indicator light will flash to let the user know when they are on target. High rpm can be measured (up to 50,000 rpm) and indicated on a LCD display. The unit continuously displays the updated rpm every second.
