American Honda Motor Co., Inc., has announced that the state

of New York has purchased 50 Honda Civic GX gas-CNG-powered cars. The

purchase was made by the state to satisfy their obligation for

alternate-fuel fleet vehicles under the United States Department of

Energy's Energy Policy Act (EPACT). Bay Ridge Honda, located in the New

York City borough of Brooklyn, was awarded the bid, and has begun

delivering the vehicles.
