New home for application engineering - Test Equipment 2002 - Brief Article

Diesel Progress North American Edition, Feb, 2002

Application Engineering, a manufacturer of engine, powertrain and fluid test systems and components, has moved its operations to a site in South Haven, Mich., approximately 20 miles north of its former location in Benton Harbor, Mich. The new facility is the former research facility for Bohn Aluminum and was most recently the home to Karl Schmidt Unisia.

The company recently purchased several pieces of CNC machinery which necessitated a move from the previous location. The new 20,000 sq.ft. building will house provide space for an expanded engineering staff, along with fabrication, machining, assembly and balancing operations.
