Portable Water Sensor
Diesel Progress North American Edition, April, 2001
The WS04 Water Sensor from Pall Corp. allows users to measure the amount of water in hydraulic, lubricating and dielectric fluids and fuel oils as a percent of saturation. The battery-operated WS04 Water Sensor is equipped with an LCD display that shows fluid temperature and water content. At 90 percent saturation and higher, the display will flash, warning that an elevated water contamination level has been reached.
According to Pall, the water sensor can be used with bottled samples, or it can be installed into a fluid line or a reservoir.
