Multiquip Inc - Business Notes - and Ammann America Inc. to co-promote roller products - Brief Article

Multiquip Inc., Carson, Calif., and Ammann America, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., announced a joint North American marketing plan to promote the roller lines of both companies. The agreement provides customers complete access to the Rammax mid-heavy line of compaction rollers. As part of the agreement, Ammann will use the Rammax brand name and logo to promote the Ammann "Heavy" equipment lines, including single-drum, heavy tandem vibrating and static rollers. Multiquip currently distributes the light Ammann compaction rollers under the Rammax brand name.

Ammann and Multiquip will jointly promote each other's full line of rollers in North America, to meet dealer and rental company requirements. Under terms of the marketing plan, the heavy equipment lines remain under the distribution control of Ammann America and the mid-range and trench roller distribution will remain under Multiquip's control.
