Spicer Driveshaft Division of Dana Corp - selection as supplier of main driveshaft assemblies for medium-tactical-vehicle-replacement trucks of Oshkosh Truck - Brief Article

The Spicer Driveshaft Division of Dana Corp. has been selected

as the supplier for all main driveshaft assemblies for nearly 6000 new

medium-tactical-vehicle-replacement (MTVR) trucks being built by Oshkosh

Truck for the U.S. Marine Corps. Spicer 10-Series (1710 and 1810)

driveshafts will be used for the all-wheel drive, three-axle MTVR vehicle.

The vehicle consists of three different wheelbases, requiring three

driveshaft packages. All driveshaft assemblies for the vehicle will be

manufactured at the division's Sterling, Ill., facility.
