JLG Industries Inc - acquisition of Gradall Industries Inc - Brief Article

JLG Industries, Inc., McConnellsburg, Pa., and Gradall Industries, Inc., New Philadelphia, Ohio, have announced the signing of an agreement under which JLG will acquire Gradall Industries, Inc., in an all-cash transaction for approximately $200 million. The combined company would have had revenues approaching $800 million for the most recent four fiscal quarters.

Gradall manufactures rough-terrain, variable-reach material handlers and telescoping hydraulic excavators, while JLG builds mobile aerial work platforms. The transaction was expected to be completed before July 3, subject to the usual assorted conditions.
