Volvo Construction Equipment - International Report - Brief Article

Volvo Construction Equipment has established a wholly owned subsidiary, Volvo Construction Equipment (China) Co, Ltd., for production of construction equipment in Shanghai. A new facility, scheduled to begin operation in the spring of 2003, will also be built and initially it will be used for the assembly of crawler excavators. The investment in the new facility is approximately $15 million.
