Deere & Co - Business Notes - to permit Home Depot to sell John Deere brand lawn and garden tractors - Brief Article

> Deere & Co. has signed an agreement that will allow Home Depot Corp. to sell John Deere brand lawn and garden tractors beginning next spring. Deere said it would discontinue making the Scotts and Sabre brands. Starting next spring, Home Depot will offer a new line of John Deere products. Consumers who purchase the John Deere products at Home Depot will be able to have their tractors serviced by any of Deere's independent dealers.
