> Terex Corp. has signed a definitive merger agreement with CMI Corp., a manufacturer of roadbuilding equipment. The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions including CMI shareholder and regulatory approval, is expected to close during the third quarter of 2001. CMI, which had 2000 revenues in excess of $225 million, manufactures roadbuilding products including asphalt and concrete mixing plants, road profiling and reclaiming equipment, concrete paving systems and landfill compactors and grinders.
