Cummins Westport Inc. said its C Gas Plus engine has been selected by Big Blue Bus, the transit operator in Santa Monica, Calif., for an order of 52 buses. The CWI natural gas engines will be installed in 40 ft., low-floor buses manufactured by New Flyer for delivery late this year. The order also includes an option for an additional 20 units.
