Network Associates, E&Y Forge Worldwide Systems Integrator Pact

Network Associates has reached a systems integrator agreement with Ernst & Young Technologies Inc. under which E&Y will deliver Network Associates' full line of products to its clients around the world.

The pact gives Ernst & Young clients a single point of contact for network security and management tools in addition to consulting services. Ernst & Young consultants, armed with Network Associates' scalable network security and management solutions, will offer IT consulting, subcontract service and qualification, testing, configuration and integration of Network Associates products.

Network Associates will train and support EYT consultants, offering ongoing support and assistance as needed. In exchange, Network Associates becomes the first enterprise network security and management vendor to be deployed and supported by Ernst & Young Technologies. The two companies say they will also engage in a variety of joint marketing and education programs. n
