Network Solutions & Dell Offer Co-Branded Service For Small- & Medium-Sized Businesses - Company Business and Marketing

Network Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: NSOL), a leader in Internet identity services with more than 10 million domain name registrations, announced a strategic alliance with Dell Computer Corp. (Nasdaq: DELL), a leader in Internet commerce and infrastructure.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dell customers will be able to register and host their own .com, .net and .org domain names through a process co-branded with Network Solutions, available on http://www.DellHost.com. Dell plans to make available Network Solutions' domain name registration services on PCs for small- and medium-sized business customers to provide a one-stop shop for domain name registrations and hosting. The arrangement establishes the foundation for a strategic marketing alliance between two Internet giants with extensive customer bases.

Dell and Network Solutions plans to incorporate co-branded registration services across both companies' websites to enable businesses and consumers with varying levels of technical expertise to easily register domain names. The alliance should provide Dell customers with access to a wide variety of Network Solutions products and services, including idNames and a Dell-branded version of dot com directory.

Network Solutions will promote DellHost products and services on its website and has available an alliance agreement to purchase Dell's industry leading PowerEdge servers and Power Vault storage and newly announced PowerApp appliance servers.
