Acme Communications chooses MetaSwitch VP3500 for launch of Indiana CLEC

MetaSwitch, a provider of broadband Class 5 switching solutions, has announced that Acme Communications, a division of Automated Data Systems, Inc. has selected the MetaSwitch VP3500 Next Generation Class 5 Switch to provide packet voice services to business customers in northwest Indiana.

Acme Communications, Inc, is a division of Automated Data Systems, Inc. the first ISP in northwest Indiana, a privately owned provider of Internet and computer services headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana.

Founded in 1984, Automated Data Systems, Inc. initially offered residential, business and educational computer systems and then became the first provider of Internet services in northern Indiana in 1994.
