McDonnell Douglas Corp., Saint Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,339,379 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for research and development to develop, analyze and document requirements for the Networked Embedded Software Technology program. At this time $873,720 of the funds have been obligated.

This work is to be completed by January 2006. Solicitation began October 2000; negotiations were completed May 2001. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-01-C-1898).
