General Dynamics C4 Systems, Taunton, Mass., was awarded an $8,400,000 firm-fixed-price contract for world wide technical assistance and support services to address common hardware/software systems (CHS-3) integration problems, equipment installation, CHS-3 software development, software and hardware maintenance, material fielding support and test support.

Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass. (37%); Gaithersburg, Md. (20%); McLean, Va. (6%); San Jose, Calif. (4%); and other locations (33%), is expected to be completed by May 31, 2013. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on March 15, 2003, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH-03-D-0029).
