Switchcore's Cxe Technology Inside World Wide Packets Lightningedge Le-410 Concentrator - Product Announcement

SwitchCore AB, developer of integrated switching devices for Internet and data communications, has announced that World Wide Packets, Inc., developer of optical networking solutions for the access market, has launched its LightningEdge LE-410 concentrator. The product uses SwitchCore's switching devices to deliver 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It will announce imminently an addition to its Concentrator product line that will leverage SwitchCore's ASIC technology.
"By coupling the SwitchCore capabilities with our cutting-edge, services-focused software, we were able to realize a quick time-to-market with products that enable the delivery of Ethernet broadband services today," said Barry Kantner, V.P. of Marketing for World Wide Packets.
