EDP Weekly's IT Monitor, July 1, 2002

Shockwave.com (www.shockwave.com) has launched of PhotoJam 3, a powerful new version of its popular personal-entertainment software that enables consumers to create musical photo-shows and share them with friends and family on the Internet.

Included among the product's new features are a powerful photo-sorting interface, music editing and sequencing features, and a new assortment of graphical styles and transitions. PhotoJam 3 was designed based on feedback from users of earlier versions of the product, which has an installed base of over 1 million users.

"We listened to our customers, who are passionate about PhotoJam," said Kate Connally, director of product management at AtomShockwave Corp., the parent company of Shockwave.com. "Based on their input, we've designed PhotoJam 3 to allow much greater depth of creativity and expression. And, it's still simple enough that even the least computer-savvy user can make a PhotoJam in seconds."

Consumers can test PhotoJam 3 for free by downloading a trial version. For unlimited usage and publishing features, they may purchase an upgrade to PhotoJam 3 Pro for $34.95. Both versions -- and a gallery of sample PhotoJam 3 presentations -- are now available at http://photojam.shockwave.com.
