NTT DoCoMo BID FOR VoiceStream - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

NTT DoCoMo is considering a bid for 49 percent of VoiceStream Wireless at $52 billion in partnership with Hong Kong's Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. The bid at $200 per share is designed to preempt Deutsche Telecom AG's $180 per share bid.
The alliance bid would give the Asian partners, already a presence in Europe, access to the burgeoning US wireless market.
