Titan awarded $200 million ID/IQFAA engineering support services contract - Brief Article

The Titan Corporation (NYSE:TTN) announced recently that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the company an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract having a potential value of $200 million over the next ten years. Under this multiple-awarded, task order-based contract, Titan will compete against three other companies to provide system engineering and acquisition management support and services throughout the FAA under the Multiple Area Support Services procurement vehicle.
"This latest award further expands Titan's decades-long relationship with the FAA," said Gene Ray, Titan's chairman, president, and CEO. "It clearly illustrates Titan's quality performance record and capability to provide a broad range of technical support services and resources to the FAA's mission."

Future FAA tasking under this contract will capitalize on Titan's technical capabilities in the areas of air traffic control automation, communication, navigation, surveillance, telecommunications, program management, acquisition management, and business process reengineering.
