Success With Large-Scale Tng Implementation In Europe Leads To Broader Icl/Ca Pact

Big European IT services provider ICL, under a new agreement with Computer Associates International, will market, install and maintain CA's Unicenter TNG management software to customers in selected vertical markets in Europe and the United States.ICL will also integrate and incorporate Unicenter TNG technology into its own IT solution offerings.
According to executives at ICL, CA's popular Unicenter TNG technology will allow ICL's extensive customer base to achieve lower IT ownership costs, improve reliability of critical IT services, and maximize return on infrastructure and application investments.Vertical markets serviced by ICL include retail, finance, government and education, telecom, utility, and travel.
"ICL has already implemented some of the largest Unicenter TNG sites in Europe, and the recent partnership enables us to extend our relationship significantly," says ICL's Lee Granton. ICL will also install Unicenter TNG as part of a global office automation upgrade across its 20,000-plus desktops and servers. Using TNG, ICL expects to accomplish key business goals that call for large operational savings through standardization and proactive management of its IT infrastructure.
