Beyond.Com Launches New Software Download Centers For Both Pc, Mac Users

Internet software superstore Beyond.com has just launched powerful new Software Download Centers for PC and Mac users to make it faster and easier to download the thousands of software titles available from the Sunnyvale, Calif., company.
Beyond.com says it has also created a Broadband Download Center for Excite@Home's and RoadRunner's broadband Internet services. Beyond.com is the exclusive software reseller for downloadable software titles to customers of both services. Broadband titles can be found at http://www.beyond.com/broadband/. Popular broadband titles include Tribes, Norton AntiVirus and Y2K Test&Fix.
"Our customers are using their purchasing power to tell us that downloading is becoming a favorite way to buy software," says Beyond.com CEO Mark Breier. "As of July, our customers had digitally downloaded more than one million products."
