Raytheon Co., Command, Control and Communication Systems Division, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $75,050,477 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-5103) for the fiscal year 2002 production requirements of the Navy's Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program. This action definitizes the contract and will support the build of ten CEC systems, one sand-alone Cooperative Engagement Processor, associated spares and data.

CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force anti-air warfare capability by extracting and distributing sensor-derived information to enable data to be available to all participating CEC units. Work will be performed in Largo, Fla. (90%), and St. Petersburg, Fla. (10%), and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
