Ariel Corp.'S Ss7-Enabled Network Access System Debuts With National Internet Access Provider - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

MegaWorld (Nasdaq OTC:MEGW) has selected Ariel's SS7-enabled BypaSS7 network access systems for use in a national Internet backbone access service.

MegaWorld will utilize Ariel's BypaSS7 systems in its Co-Location facilities to offer wholesale managed dial-up 56K and Basic Rate ISDN ports to CLECs and ISPs.

MegaWorld will deploy the first BypaSS7 systems at its New York City Co-Location facility, with a total network build out scheduled for completion in 2001. MegaWorld plans to purchase at least 33,600 network access ports (50 DS3s) from Ariel over a two-year period. Megaworld's planned deployment for Ariel equipment and services is valued at over $6M.
