SYS Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:SYYS) announced recently that they have been awarded a prime contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego. Under this contract, valued at up to $10.0 million over three years, SYS will provide software and system engineering services and technical and management support to critical government information assurance and engineering systems and programs. SYS Technologies was joined in this effort by team members from American Systems Corp., Booz-Allen & Hamilton Inc., Galaxy Scientific Corp., Nathan Kunes Inc. and Science Applications International Corp. ("SAIC").
"This award provides us yet another prime contract to ensure continued cost-effective support to our customers, and it especially enables further growth of our information assurance related work. We are particularly pleased with this award since it provides us an opportunity to hone our prime contractor skills through expanded work with large, high-caliber team members such as SAIC and Booz-Allen. The contract is a welcome addition to our other vehicles which support our traditional Navy Research and Development and operational command customers," said Ken Regan, SYS Technologies senior vice president.
SYS Technologies has provided engineering, technical, financial and management services to commercial and U.S. government customers since 1966. It currently has several multiple-year management and engineering service contracts with the U.S. Navy and General Services Administration at various locations across the country.
