E-Business Software Maker BroadVision Opens New Federal Office In Virginia - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

EDP Weekly's IT Monitor, Nov 8, 1999

Personalized e-business applications supplier BroadVision Inc. has just formed BroadVision Federal, a new McLean, Va.-based division to sell and service BroadVision One-To-One applications for e-commerce and knowledge management to federal agencies. In related news, Litton/PRC has added BroadVision's e-business applications to its GSA Schedule, carrying all BroadVision products as a Master GSA Schedule holder.

The Schedule will be the primary means for providing products to federal buyers, BroadVision says. HP and Sun are also key BroadVision federal partners. BroadVision says its One-To-One solutions will streamline governmental processes, creating personalized Web sites empowering federal workers to better serve themselves. "With the federal government facing continued pressure to perform more efficiently with fewer resources, we hope to bring the same strategic advantages enjoyed by our private sector customers to federal agencies...," says BroadVision GM James Thanos.
