Array Networks enhances traffic manager product line - Array TM 5.7

Array Networks announced recently significant enhancements to its integrated traffic management product lines, Array TM and Array TM-C. New features to Array TM give enterprises an even easier plug-and-play implementation and management of a unified solution to accelerate application performance without the need for additional servers or offload devices. With the launch of Array TM 5.7, which complements the recent launch of the Array SP 6.1 SSL VPN solution, Array Networks continues to pioneer highly integrated solutions to extend and accelerate application infrastructure via secure, unified platform solutions.

"The Array TM was able to improve the delivery time of our web pages significantly," said Jane G. Fishkin, vice president and CIO for The Brookings Institute. "We use a pair of Array Traffic Managers in our server Web Farm, speeding up delivery of our rather complex pages assembled by DynaBase. Steve Lichtman, network architect, in charge of nVidia's application network infrastructure chose the Array TM solution after surveying the field of Layer 4-7 traffic management alternatives. "The ease-of-use, seamless integration and XML RPC from Array Networks really helped us integrate the Array TM with our custom applications," commented Lichtman.
