Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. Files Suit Against Compaq, Dell And Gateway - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

Multi-Tech Systems, Inc., based in Mounds View, MN, filed separate lawsuits in the U.S. District Court, Minneapolis, MN, against Compaq Computer Corp., Dell Computer Corp. and Gateway, Inc. Presumably the basis of the suit is a claimed patent by Multi-Tech covering the simultaneous transfer of data and voice, or video over a communications link.

Each of the three companies denied any knowledge of the suit and Gateway said it would, of course, vigorously contest any such action. Further details on the announcement by Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. are expected shortly.
