HP & Loudcloud Partner To Provide Software Services To Internet Businesses - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

Hewlett-Packard Co. and Loudcloud Inc. announced that they are working together to help high-growth Internet businesses get to market faster and scale to meet their customer needs. Loudcloud, which builds and runs smart software Cloud services for Internet businesses, has tapped HP to be its preferred provider of Intel- based NT and Linux servers.
The relationship with HP enables Loudcloud to rapidly develop and deploy smart software Clouds on portal-class, Intel-based servers - developed, supported and financed by HP. Smart Cloud services combine a complete suite of software, infrastructure and Web operation services with Loudcloud's Opsware automation technology to deliver unprecedented levels of scalability and reliability. Loudcloud's research and operations teams will collaborate with HP to establish systems and processes to deliver scalable, mission- critical, feature-rich portals and Web sites. HP and Loudcloud also plan to develop a joint marketing campaign that focuses on the common mission both companies share - helping dot com companies grow quickly.
