Marital bliss: The Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami recently conducted a poll of 183 golfers (87 percent were men) at the resort. Of that group, 63 percent said they don't play golf with their spouse, and the average they spend on a round is $108. (No word on how much their marriage counseling costs.) You can stay at Doral and play unlimited golf until Sept. 16 for $125-$130 (replay cart fee is additional). Phone 877-893-6725.

Kids play free: More than a dozen of Hyatt's top resorts are allowing kids ages 8-17 to play golf for free when playing with an adult. The promotion runs until Aug. 31. Phone 800-233-1234 or go to www.golfhyatt.com.

Going once? Going twice? Internet auction site eBay now has an exclusive page for golfers at www.ebay.com. In addition to equipment and memorabilia, it offers tee times and airline, hotel and travel packages.

Ride the rails: The Canadian Pacific Railway is sponsoring a three-day, 640-mile round-trip golf and train excursion through the Canadian Rockies. The train departs from Calgary on Aug. 24 and makes stops at Paradise Canyon Golf Club, Greywolf Golf Course and Banff Springs Hotel Course. Guests eat and sleep on the luxury train. Cost is $2,495 per person, double occupancy. Phone 403-508-1400 or go to www.cprtours.com.
