In a recent evaluation of California community college courses being taught online, three out of seven of the top awards went to classes powered by software created by Jamboa Learning Technologies, Inc., the producer of Etudes classroom and Etudes Tutor software. The first Teaching Site Awards were presented by the California Virtual Campus to recognize exemplary online classes. Each of the selected courses was evaluated in five different areas: educational content, course design, use of multimedia, interactivity, and community, and accessibility for disabled students.
