Speak and interact live with students on OfficeHoursLive, a Web-based virtual office designed for faculty and teaching assistants, launched by HorizonLive.
The hallmark of the OfficeHoursLive platform is the ability for faculty to speak live audio to online students. To enhance instruction, educators can annotate the OfficeHoursLive eBoard and show pertinent Web pages, including virtually any content posted online in their course management system.
OfficeHoursLive is firewall friendly, free of custom plug-ins, and works on PC, Macintosh, and UNIX platforms. HorizonLive will host the virtual office for six months for $500.
