The United States Department of Education awarded $859,132 to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, Cloquet, Minn., to fund the college's American Indian Teacher Corps Project. The grant funding for the collaborative project between FDLTCC and the University of Minnesota-Duluth covers three years.

The primary goal of the new project is to attract and prepare students for careers as teachers and administrators serving American Indian students in the nation's tribal and public school systems.
