WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--International Graphics of Germany has granted Bentley Publishing Group the exclusive publication and distribution rights for its two top artists, Choisy and Benevolenza. All prints by these two artists will be stocked at Bentley's California headquarters and will be available for immediate shipment, according to Bentley officials. Many works will be printed in the U.S. as well, and will be sold as "The Walmsley Collection" under the Rinehart Fine Arts banner.
Lawrence Walmsley, founder and managing director of International Graphics said, "These artists are incredibly hot, and we wanted a partner who was well respected and strong in the Americas. I have known many in the Bentley organization over the years and am impressed by how they do business, who they know and what they've accomplished. With Bentley in the Americas and our presence in Europe and the rest of the world, Choisy and Benevolenza will greatly increase their presence in the marketplace."
Robert Sher, president of Bentley Publishing Group, believes the partnership will be a fruitful one. "We are delighted to be able to publish these fine European artists as our group moves into abstract and semi-abstract art. We see this agreement as a starting point and are eager to show this wonderful product to our customers."
