SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- From Nov. 15 through March 15, 2004, an exhibition of Tom Everhart's large-scale paintings on canvas and wood will be featured at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Calif. The show, entitled "Tom Everhart: Under the Influence;' will be the largest U.S. exhibit to date of Everhart's paintings on canvas.
Everhart will be doing two lectures and slide shows at the museum on the show's opening weekend. He will also be signing posters in the museum's auditorium.
Prior to the museum show, a Chicago exhibition at [S.sup.2] Art Gallery, held Sept. 5 and 6, previewed the pieces that will be displayed at the Santa Rosa exhibit.
Known for his dynamic, brilliantly colored work inspired by his long-time friendship with Schulz, Everhart is the only fine artist authorized by Schulz and United Media to depict the well-known Peanuts characters in his work.
