"About 20 years ago, my family and I went camping on the beaches of L'Escalet, near Saint Tropez. We sailed there in my inflatable motorboat, 'The Zodiac,'" says Joanny. "We packed drinking water and food for several days, and we went to a place behind the capes you see on the horizon in the painting. It was our little spot of paradise." Joanny adds, "The end of summer is my favorite time of year--because of the colors."
