LOS ANGELES -- A brand new show, "the LA Interior Design & Antiques Show" debuts Nov. 11-14 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, CA, offering everything for the interior designer, from fine antiques to modern decorative arts to outdoor living accessories.
The show was created for top-quality dealers and designers (80 participating this year) to demonstrate the art of combining rare antiques with contemporary art and furnishings, creating unique styles of eclecticism.
In the lobby of the auditorium will be a variety of interior design booths illustrating how leading Los Angeles designers blend different styles and periods of decorative arts and antiques together, which will be on display. Some participating designers include Joe Ruggiero (host for "Homes Across America"), Barclay Butera, Susan Cohen, Sari Ehrenreich and Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
An opening night reception will be held on Nov. 11, giving guests the first opportunity to view and purchase items in the show, and will benefit the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) with California Homes magazine sponsoring the event.
