Gallery opens in French Quarter

Art Business News,  Nov, 2005

CHARLESTON, SC -- The Corrigan Gallery opened its doors in the historic French Quarter on Sept. 1 and features representational and abstract art that possesses the charm of old Charleston with a contemporary edge.

"The response in the community has been resoundingly supportive and one of excitement," writes Lese Corrigan, owner and artist who has been in the Charleston art business for more than 18 years.

Works available include Kevin Parent's hand-printed black and white photographs, Karin Ohla's fabric paintings and Sue Simons Wallace's fish prints done in old Japanese rubbings. Demonstrations will be available on location.
