PALO ALTO, CA -- Hewlett Packard has announced its support of Andy Summers, photographer and former guitarist for legendary band The Police, to create a rare, behind-the-scenes visual documentary about the band. The photographic exhibition, titled "I'll Be Watching You: Inside The Police 1980-1983," will be composed of 38 exclusive black-and-white images.
The exhibition will offer a glimpse into the lives of The Police in the early 1980s. Summers has hosted a series of gallery exhibitions for the photographs throughout 2007 with stops in Las Vegas, California, Miami, Boston, Toronto, New York, London, Denmark and Barcelona.
Chicago print service provider RT Associates, Inc. used several Hewlett Packard products, including the HP Designjet Z3100 Photo Printer, HP Designjet 5500 and HP Indigo press 5000, to print and produce large-format signage, banners, gallery-specific materials and photographs for sale at Summers' gallery shows.
