MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- Art Attack 2007 came to Minneapolis in early November with a bang. The 10th annual open studio and gallery crawl in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District featured hundreds of artists working in ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media, mosaics, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, wood and textiles. It offered visitors opportunities to find unique gifts, meet artists and learn about their creative processes.
Works created for the event were inspired by the histories of the Northrup King Building and the defunct Northrup King Seed Company. Today, the building houses more than 150 Minneapolis-based artists and art-related businesses.
